Ex- Doctor Faces Assault Allegations Against Thirty-Eight Patients
Legal authorities have stated that a former doctor stands accused of performing assaults against 38 individuals who were under his care.
The Grave Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of numerous acts of sexual assault – comprising some against children younger than 13 – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.
One senior prosecutor said, “Legal teams have diligently worked to assist a detailed and complex investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
Scope of the Police Inquiry
These allegations follow what investigators called a “detailed inquiry” into alleged sexual offences at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

Prosecutors outline the 45 charges he is charged with:
- Fifteen counts of sexual assault.
- Seventeen counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
