After quite some time of rumors, the BR mode for Battlefield 6 is officially arriving. Recent talk indicating its arrival would happen alongside the new season were true. Fans can dive into the action starting very soon.
The New Season Bringing a New Map, Style, and Arsenal
Together with the BR mode, Season 1 is also starting. This adds a new map, a new mode, and fresh guns. What's more, this new sector is being introduced. A embedded teaser will become available at launch, providing fans a preview of what's to come.
F2P Model Enables Redsec Open to Everyone
Perhaps the biggest news is that Battlefield Redsec will be F2P. Similar to popular titles, you won't require to own the base game to join in. Although I was a skeptic previously, I'm completely for the BR mode now that I've experienced it.
These first impressions from participants have been very positive. Of course, the gameplay may have been adjusted over the past couple of months in terms of balancing and speed. Still, initial indicators are positive that this new mode could become a genuine alternative to established offerings. Many are hoping that the most effective firearms from the main game will carry over in the battle royale.
